Trio Of Men Arrested, Charged With Rash Of Burglaries
Three men are behind bars after admitting to police that they're the ones who committed a recent rash of burglaries in southern Schuylkill County. State Police had the men under surveillance when they say two of them -- David Ferrar and Michael Goetz -- broke into the Red and White Market on Route 61 in North Manheim Township early this morning.

Troopers arrested both men. They say the pair then implicated the third suspect, Richard Cannauaccuiolo. After his arrest, police say he also admitted to his role in the 20 burglaries.

Police say the businesses that were targeted were Bob’s Pools, Dewald and Lengle, Burnie’s Italian Water Ice, Dino’s Pizza, Kramer's Solid Rock, Kegs and Kases, and Uniform Place, all in Schuylkill Haven; Goodwill Fire Company and Cressona Country Store in Cressona; Stop and Rock and Hidden Valley Golf Course in Pine Grove; and the Schuylkill County Country Club, Schuylkill Racquet Club, and Top City, all in Orwigsburg

Ferrar, 23, and Goetz, 18, both of Orwigsburg, were both charged today with the burglary at the Red and White Market. Cannauaccuiolo, 18, of Schuylkill Haven, was charged with the burglary at Kegs and Kases. Police say additional charges for the other burglaries are pending.
