Yankees Fans Cheering For Their Own World Series Berth
The Phillies did it Wednesday night and the Yankees could do it tonight. And fans we spoke with are predicting an East Coast showdown.  WFMZ's Bo Koltnow spoke with fans in Phillipsburg, New Jersey.

>> Fans were out at Hammerheads Bar in Phillipsburg Thursday and they were ready for a turnpike tussel World Series.

>>REPORTER: Wednesday night it was all about the Fighten Phills.

>>REPORTER: 24 hours later at least Inside Hammerheads Bar in Phillipsburg its all about the New York.

>>APRIL:  Yankees.

>>REPORTER: At first pitch the Yankees had a 3 to 1 lead in the American League Championship Series... putting them in the drivers seat for a collision course with the Fighten Phills..which would create an all East Coast World Series..

>>JIM:What do you think about a Turnpike tussel? Would be great for the East Coast.

>>REPORTER: A Yankees win or not one thing is a certain..an ex-Yankee legend isn't invited.

>>APRIL:  Do you think the Phillies are a tougher team than the Dodgers? No so much tougher but more interesting with Joe Torres playing against his old team. That would be an interesting game to watch.

>>DAN  I think the Phillies would be more challengable.

>>APRIL: Lot of Phillies fans and a lot of Yankees fans so would be intersting.

>>LORRIANE:Do you think a lot of arguments between Yankee and Phillies fans? I'm sure yeah. From you? No.

>>If the World Series is a turnpike tussel as some are calling it. It won't be the first time the two have met in the World Series. Back in 1950 the Yankees swept the Phillies in 4 games.
