Lehigh County Coroner Rules Death of Pottsville Shooting Victim Homicide
The Lehigh County Coroner has ruled the Friday shooting death of a Schuylkill County woman a homicide. An autopsy on Sandra Pucci, 50, of Pottsville, was completed Sunday morning. The coroner says Pucci died from multiple gunshot wounds, and was pronounced dead on Friday afternoon at Lehigh Valley Hospital.

[ 10/23 - Stephanie Esposito's 5:30 p.m. Report - DA: Man Kills Self Inside Church After Shooting Girlfriend ]

Frank Manganiello, of Schuylkill Haven, was identified Friday by the Schuylkill County District Attorney James Goodman as the shooter.

Pucci had a protection from abuse (PFA) order on Manganiello.

Pucci worked at the Way-Mart on Market Street, which shares a parking lot with the social security office.

Police say Manganiello, who owned Fresco's Pizza Shop located in Pottsville, shot Pucci at the parking lot after an argument around Noon Friday.

Investigators say Manganiello got into his car after the shooting and lead police on a high speed chase to the First United Methodist Church, located at 4th and Market Streets.

Witnesses say he ran into the church holding a gun to his head.

Investigators say he eventually took his own life on the church altar.
