Fans Brave Soggy Weather For Game One Of World Series
The World Series is off to a soggy start in New York. Still, both Yankees and Phillies fans flocked to Yankee Stadium in the Bronx for Game One between their two teams Wednesday night. This is the Phillies second consecutive World Series appearance.

>> REPORTER: Phillies-Yankees, a rematch 59 years in the making. A rematch these fans want to see in person. So they spent much of the day waiting in line outside Yankees Stadium to get tickets. 

>> I'm a New Yorker and I've never been to the World Series. I've never been inside a game like that.

>> REPORTER: Fans came from all over. This group made the trip to New York from South Carolina. 

>> It's exciting to be here. They opened the new stadium. It'll be electric in that place tonight. 

>> REPORTER: This guy arrived two days ago from Mexico to see his beloved Yankees in Game 1. 

>> I want to see the Yankees win. 

>> REPORTER: While most of the fans we found were all about the Yankees. Kevin Sica and his 16-year-old daughter Amanda bleed Phillies red. They came up from Quakertown and say they have tickets to six of the 7 potential World Series games. 

>> We're excited. We're hoping for a victory by Lee.. a complete game. Hopefully a shut out.. and put these Yankee fas in their place. 

>> What does it mean to you to be here tonight at game 1 against the Yankees? 

>> Well, I went last year. It's something fun to do with my dad. Something that we do together.
