Yankees/Phillies Rivalries Heat Up Households
Phillies / Yankee rivalries are heating up in some homes across Berks County. This entire family in Birdsboro supports the Fightin's...except 23 year old Danielle. She decided to push her step- dad's buttons at a young age and bleed blue. And that means Danielle has to endure some grief.

>> DANIELLE WERNER: Its very hard to wear Yankee gear in this house, because you never know what's going to happen to it. Even the dog likes to take my Yankee slippers.

>> WILLIAM MCCANN: I was born, breed, and raised to be a Yankee hater. It's revenge time for my dad's wiz kids.

>>  Across the county, in Wyomissing it's a similar story. These two women live with their children, who are married so it's a case of mother against mother. Martha roots for New York Ethel is all about the Fightin Phil's.

>> ETHEL ZUBER: I like the Phillies. I watch every game that they're on. >

> MARTHA CORNIELUS: I had seven brothers and all I heard all my like was Yogi Berra and Babe Ruth.

>> Behind all this rivalry though.. there is one thing everyone can agree on...

>> DJ: Are you going to rub it in?

>> CORNELIUS: You better believe it! (laugh)
