WFMZ's Dwayne Parker Hikes Through NY Searching For The Ultimate Fan
It's a do or die situation for the Philadelphia Phillies. The Yankees are one game away from winning the Fall Classic, but Phillies fans are still hoping for a chance at Game 7. WFMZ's Dwayne Parker and he went all over New York looking for the ultimate baseball fan.
>> We practically combed New York City, from Times Square, all the way to Yankee Stadium, looking for that fan or fans who attended all the games of the World Series so far. This is what we found.

>> REPORTER: To find that ultimate fan that's been to every single World Series game, we thought we start out at Dave & Busters in Times Square. There 610 WIP Sports Radio was hosting a pre-game party for Phillies fans like Jim Paoli and Steve Cicconi who have only missed one game.

>> JIM PAOLI: And that was for Halloween. I had to be there for the kids.

>> STEVE CICCONI: I have a wife that loves to shop, so it works out real well. So that's why I can go to these games.

>> REPRTERO: Yankees fans we spoke with didn't seem to fare much better.

>> ELISA AVILES: For middle class, or college student like myself, very, very hard to go to all the games. It's like a $1,000 for two seats and that's like nosebleed seats.

>> JOE MONGIARDO: If you looked on StubHub and wherever, the prices of tickets are a small fortune.

>> JOE MONGIARDO: So it's much better to be here tonight where we will absolutely rapi it up tonight.

>> Of course that remains to be seen. But as you can see, lack of funds, for some, appears to have tumped fan fever. But it seems the ones that were able to attend tonights game are having a fantastic time - after almost every play, the applause that can be heard from outside the stadium is deafening. For the latest score of the game we'll have that update during sports.
