NASCAR is one of America's fastest growing sports. We're here at the Pocono Raceway to see what these babies can do.

Try 600 horsepower.. with top speeds of over 160 miles per hour.

Jesse We get real serious when we strap you into a harness. Most gain respect real quick.

Before I strap in, I hit the classroom to learn the rules of the road. I want to make sure clutch is all the way down. The only difference between these and authentic NASCAR's are a passenger seat and the shell is fiberglass. The cars are built for speed and need to be driven that way.

Jesse Your right foot controls the air condition, the faster you go, the more air flowing through the car.

Drivers must be at least 18 and know how to drive a 4 speed transmission.

And you have to fit through the car's window.

I have my gear on, ready to hit the track, I'm going to go first as a passenger hitting 160 miles per hour then my turn at 150.

Driving by sight is key. Track markers keep drivers off the wall by signaling when to begin turns, slow down, and accelerate.

After 3 laps it was my turn know how it feels to get behind the wheel.

You can go out there. Here I go I need GEICO like now. After strapping in and starting the engine I was ready.

Just make sure in your fourth gear by the straightaway.Dale Jr. I'm gunning for you.
Following my instructor I drive 8 laps around the 2.5 miles track, reaching speeds over 165 miles per hour.

Ferarri has nothing on these cars.

Super grip tires keep me glued to the track, something no street car can compete with.

Now I know what it feels like to be a NASCAR driver. I'll never be able to drive my Mazda 6 the same way again.
