Coca-Cola Offering Reward for Capture of Vending Machine Vandals
Don't be surprised if you come up dry the next time you want change back from a vending machine. Police say at least two vandals are draining cash out of soda machines throughout the Lehigh Valley. WFMZ's Bo Koltnow reports.

[ SURVEILLANCE VIDEO ]

Soda machines outside supermarkets, convenience and drug stores are being targeted.

Not for their beverages but for your cash.

Feeding that dollar, making a selection may not ensure you get your soda or change.

>> Charles

No coke comes out no change comes out.

Over the past 3 months.. investigator say at least 2 men have been quenching their thirst for theft and vandalism.

They've robbed 27 Coke and other vending machines throughout the Lehigh Valley.

>> Charles

Is an all around effect.

From collecting money to the product being down, to customer when they go to machine and are not able to make a purchase.

This is video outside the Weis supermarket on Cedar Crest in Allentown.

Police say you can see two men pull up in a dark pickup, walk to the machines and open them.

Grabbing the cash before getting back in the truck and taking off.

Doing it all in under 8 minutes.. usually very early in the morning or late at night.

Coke says locks on its vending machines were not picked or broken.

>> Mike

So the guy has a key.

Telling me the guy took an impression of the key, either ours or competitors to fit several numbers of our system.

Police say these pics taken inside a Giant supermarket off Route 191 are of the two bandits.

Giant has posted bulletins alerting customers.

Coke which has lost thousands of dollars already is in the process securing and updating its machines.

>> Police say they are relying on your help in nabbing the vending machine vandals.

If you have any information call the Bethlehem Township Police Department.

As an added incentive.. Coca-Cola is offering a year supply of Coke products to anyone with info leading to an arrest.
