Man Admits Killing Daughter Over Text Message

The charred body of an Allentown teenager was pulled from a basement boiler room in New York City over the weekend. And now, her father has told police he put her there. He's now facing murder charges. And police say this isn't the first time he tried to take the girl's life. Police in the Bronx say 34-year-old Miguel Matias called 911 Saturday, confessing to killing his 14-year-old daughter, Ana Matias. Investigators say she lived in Allentown but was visiting her father for the weekend. Matias was apparently upset about a text message Ana sent to a boy. The NYPD tells us Matias tried to kill Ana before. They say years back, he was institutionalized after he poured gasoline in a car while he and two children were inside. That time, Ana was able to escape.
